The ROV’s are a tool for capturing video or other sensor data. But it is all about reporting this, so that useful insights can be derived.
All our ROV’s come with or are compatible with skids, for connection of additional sensors.
Nearly any subsea sensor can be connected via the 29pin CRE connectors on the Valor which permit IP & Serial data transmission. We have already integrated our own equipment (beacons, camera’s, sonar, SLAM Camera’s, UT, FMD & CP tooling – all of which come integrated with spare connectors for redundancy.
Serial sensors are connected through our MOXA on the topside, enabling both ours & our Client machines to access this data over the LAN.
We own & utilise both NETmc & Digital Edge DVRs, they come setup ready to overlay any IP/serial information from our sensors – Project Name, Time & Date, ROV Position, depth, heading, altitude, KP point, CP readings, but we can further integrate any other sensor information for overlay that you have.
Reporting has never been easier, we can custom setup eventing buttons to log events, sensor values and links to the video clips.
We use EIVA as standard to aid both the vessel master & pilot with their relative positions (helmsman display). But the functionality we get out of this software is significantly expanded during our more complex jobs.
