Japanese Tidal Project

Green Marine(UK)Ltd is named as a key contractor in an exciting tidal energy project announced today at the Nagasaki Prefecture in Japan. Green Marine will be supporting lead contractor and long time client SIMEC Atlantis Energy to deliver and install an AR-Series tidal turbine, foundation and offshore cable for the project in the Goto Islands, located in the Naru Straights in Nagasaki.

Green Marine(UK)Ltd has been exploring the Japanese market for several years and has been selected for this contract due to their expertise in the tidal energy sector. Being part of the first installation of a commercial scale tidal project in Japan with SIMEC Atlantis Energy is another important milestone in Green Marine’s international growth strategy.
