Green Marine have been involved in numerous projects working with offshore cables, both as a vessel provider or as Principal Contractor for delivering a work scope. As Principal Contractor we have worked with a range of connector manufacturers including; ETA, SEA & Nexans. Work scopes may typically involve:
- Recovery or Laying of Cable,
- Terminating cables after cutting,
- Jointing static & dynamic cables using in-line joints or splices,
- Jointing Dry-Mate-Connectors to offshore or onshore cables for later connection.
To support works, Green Marine has a cable reel drive system (RDS) and numerous reels in Orkney. All can be used offshore or for onshore transpooling work scopes.
