As part of Microsoft’s Project NATICK Green Marine installed 125m cable extension. The Green Isle installed a 5-point mooring spread on the site and then recovered the end of the existing grid connected cable. A splice was carried out on the deck of the vessel to connect the cable extension to the existing cable.
The extension was then layed to the seabed by the vessel which followed a laytable created by the Green Marine engineering team. The half drymate was then set on the seabed in preparation for future recovery during the NATICK device installation.
